Ah yes. The fabled Half Life 3. The answer to it's release date is actually quite simple: 1 + 9 + 9 + 8 = 27. 1998 - 27 = 1971. Gabe Newell was 9 years old in 1971. 9 + 1998 = 2007 2007 - 2 (for the projected Half Life 2) - 1 (for the prior Half Life 1) = 2004. 2007 - 3 = 2004 OR Half Life 2's release year. Following the same standard: 2 + 0 + 0 + 4 = 6 2004 - 6 = 1998 (coincidence? I think not!) Gabe Newell was 36 years old in 1998. 36 + 2004 = 2040 2040 - 3 (for the projected Half Life 3) - 2 (for the prior Half Life 2) - 1 (for the prior Half Life 1) = 2034. Obviously, the next Half Life game is going to come out in 2034. Get with the program. Sorry for formatting. Edit: Math? Yeah got a bit distracted, but lowered the release by two years!
This is cool
